One view instead of four separate systems
Cameras, door sensors, displays and GPS in a vehicle traditionally each arrive with their own program and their own account. GRID CLOUD brings them into a single view: what the footage shows, how many passengers boarded and where the vehicle was at that moment all sit on the same timeline, so an event no longer has to be assembled from three separate sources.
On the live map a dispatcher sees the status of every vehicle and line, occupancy by line and time, and gets an alert the moment something happens — with the footage recorded automatically. That footage is reviewed from a desk, without driving out to the terminus and without pulling the memory card from the vehicle.
Management gets daily reports from the same data: driver behaviour with scores, consumption and maintenance costs, route loads. With consulting, an operator can build its own dispatch centre on top of this and extend it with GPS tracking including fuel control and tachograph data, analysis of drivers' working hours, and transport planning.
